Are you in the red financially? Have you read the books, tried the advice you’ve been given and still find yourself lacking every month? Welcome to the club.
I’ve read dozens of books, watched training videos, been to seminars, but somehow it all keeps ending up going bad. What are we doing wrong? You’ve done everything they’ve told you to do, or have you? Looking back, i see a lot of the mistakes I made, why I made them, and what I overlooked. I want to share all of this valuable information with you. Not only that, but you’ll see how I get myself out of the hole of -$60,000 net worth. This is getting out of the red.
Budgets don’t really suck, as the url implies, or rather frantically exclaims. They’re actually very useful tools to balancing your finances. But they can be difficult and frustrating for many of us to wrap our heads around. This frustration leads to desperate google searches like the one that might’ve brought you here. Budgets are a good thing, but they’re not the only tool.
Hello, my name is ??? Sorry, I’ve been forced to conceal my identity as there is a lot of my personal financial information on this site. I consider myself pretty Financially Illiterate so let’s just call me Fifi.
I know, that’s not very manly, but it’s how I feel most of the time when I look at my finances. I think I get it, then the end of the month rolls around and I obviously don’t get it. There’s a lot of sites out there that show you how to manage your money and get to that beautiful place where you can retire and all is well. You can see some of them in the blogroll section on the side of the page. They are very useful sites and have a lot of good information about starting from zero. This site takes things to a place that is much scarier: starting from less than zero.
I’ve already made so many bad mistakes, I’m way in the red. Like thousands of dollars in the red. Okay, tens of thousands of dollars in the red on my net worth and negative on cashflow each month causing me to work more hours to make up for it! In my old age, I’m becoming more and more A.D.D. This blog will help me organize my financial goals and educate others along the way.
I will chronicle my journey out of this slump (hopefully) and back in the black. I’ll share with you what I learn.
- How to come back from a very bad financial situation
- Mistakes I made that could’ve been easily avoided
- How best to combat your financial situation
I know I can’t do it on my own, no one can. Let’s collaborate… and listen. Ice is back with a brand new invention…
